1. The
stamp with the face value of Lei 4.50 subjects:
- The heroine Ecaterina Teodoroiu, died in
the Battle of Marasesti (August 22, 1917), a cannon and a military battle flag.
Also, Canadian soldiers climb out of trenches in the First World War
photo. I think this is a stamp designer grave mistake
2. The
stamp with the face value of Lei 8 subjects:
- General Eremia Grigorescu who, in the
first battle of Oituz (July 1917), had launched the slogan “They shall not
pass!”; The heroes mausoleum in Marasesti,
military
battle flag and photograph with King Ferdinand and Queen Mary decorating the
soldiers who fought at Marasesti (1917).
